Yellow Lentil Soup with Vegetables

Ingredients:

• Yellow lentils - 1 cup
• Carrots, chopped - 1 cup
• Onion, cut into cubes - 1 cup
• Salt - 2 tsp
• Cumin powder - 2 tbsp
• Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
• President Cooking Cream - 1 cup
• President Unsalted Butter - 2 tbsp

Preparation:

• In a pot, cover lentils and carrots with water. Boil over medium heat until soft and well-done.
• Mash the mixture using a hand blender.
• Fry the onion cubes with President Unsalted Butter until tender, then add it to the lentil mixture.
• Add salt, President Cooking Cream and spices. Simmer for 5 minutes.
• Enjoy a delicious Iftar with your family!

Please note:
• Tsp = Teaspoon and Tbsp = Tablespoon
• 1 cup = 240 ml or 240 g (approx.)
