President Creamy Vegetable Soup

Arabic with a modern twist

Ingredients:

• Celery, chopped - 1 cup
• Carrots, cut into small cubes - 1 cup
• Onion, chopped - 1 cup
• Squash, chopped - 1 cup
• Potato, chopped - 1 cup
• Corn - 1 cup
• Parsley, chopped - 1 cup
• President Unsalted Butter - 2 tbsp
• President Cooking Cream - 1 cup
• President Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - 2 cups
• Salt - 2 tsp
• White pepper - 1 tsp
• Milk - 2 cups
• Flour - ¼ cup

Preparation:

• In a pot, melt President Unsalted Butter over medium heat, and fry all the vegetables until tender.
• Add the flour and mix well.
• Gradually add milk until the mixture becomes thick, and then add President Cooking Cream.
• Season with salt and white pepper, and simmer for 25 minutes.
• Add President Shredded Mozzarella Cheese and mix well.
• Enjoy a delicious Iftar with your family!

Please note:
• Tsp = Teaspoon and Tbsp = Tablespoon
• 1 cup = 240 ml or 240 g (approx.)
