Classic Salad Nicoise with President Camembert Cheese

Ingredients:

• Eggs - 4
• Green beans - 250g
• Artichokes - 125g
• Bell pepper(red, yellow or orange), sliced - 1
• Potatoes, boiled and quartered - 4
• Cherry tomatoes, halved - 250g
• Cucumbers, thinly sliced - 2
• Lettuce, shredded - 1 cup
• Tuna in oil, drained - 2 cans
• Capers - 2 tbsp
• President Camembert Cheese, sliced - 125g
• Fresh basil leaves, chopped - ¼ cup

For the dressing:
• Garlic cloves, minced - 2
• Fresh basil leaves, chopped - ¼ cup
• Olive oil - ½ cup
• Red vinegar - 2 tbsp
• Salt and pepper

Preparation:

• In a small bowl, mix garlic with basil leaves, olive oil and vinegar. Season with salt and pepper. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
• Place the eggs in a pot filled with boiling salted water. Reduce the heat and cook the eggs for 10 minutes. Transfer the eggs to a bowl of cold water and let them rest for 5 minutes. Peel them and cut into quarters or slices.
• Place the beans in another pot filled with boiling salted water. Reduce the heat and cook the beans for 2 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside.
• Put the artichokes in the same pot. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until softened. Remove from the pot and set aside.
• Roast the bell pepper slices until charred on both sides.
• Arrange all the ingredients on a large serving platter.
• Pour the dressing all over the salad. Season with salt and pepper.
• Top with President Camembert Cheese and basil leaves.
• Enjoy a delicious Iftar with your family!

• 1 cup = 240 ml or 240 g (approx.)
